Is prejudice necessarily wrong? The dictionary definition is "Preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience". Or, preconceived opinion, period, such as prejudice against big government. The fact that matters is that it is preconceived. Not what it is or is not based on. Experience generally leads to prejudice. A person that is progressively exposed to similar situations that produce similar results tends to adopt the opinion that there is a cause-effect relationship between that situation and its results.
